bush visits albania and his watch was stolen?

U.S. President George Bush's wristwatch disappeared as he shook hands with hundreds of well-wishers during his visit to Albania, Italian media has reported.

A series of photographs printed in Italian media showed Bush wearing his watch earlier in the day - only for it to vanish later as he shook hands with the huge crowd.

In several of the photographs hands are clearly visible on his wrists.

Details of the missing watch were reportedly first been aired on Albanian TV just hours after President Bush had flown out of Tirana.

The watch disappeared while he visited the village of Fushe Kruje, about 30 miles from Tirana.

Hundreds of locals lined the pavements and gave him a boisterous welcome, as he shook hands, some Albanians reached out and embraced him, while others nearly pulled him into the crowd, leaving his hair ruffled.
