you were my e v e r y t h i n g; show 2010

Show clips from may 23rd. :)

I rode Flirt in the flat clips. It was the u/s pony hunters flat class, and I didn't place. We were both pretty tense, haha. I haven't ridden her in awhile, and last time I did things didn't work out so well. But she was great, and I was happy with the way she acted for me.

Then I did my two o/f classes with Cisco, in pony hunters. The last show on Cisco, I didn't do well at all. He refused everything. Took off in warmup. This time, he was SO good. He refused twice on each course, but it really was my fault. I should have known he was going to, since he really skitted to the left before he was going to refuse. The flowerbox jump he refused each course, and you'd think I'd realize on the second course he'd refuse. But I didn't. Then our second course, he refused the second jump in the line after the flowers, and that was my fault also. It was supposed to be a triple, but they took down the jump. They left the standards up though, and we were supposed to just go on the insides of the standard and head to the last jump in the line- we swerved to the outside of the triple (my fault) and came up to the jump at a really odd angle. Otherwise, our courses were amazing, and I'm extremely proud of Cisco. Even though we didn't place, it was a big improvement from last show.

My last course of the day was for an IEA class. They put you on a random horse, and I was put on Aries. I went first, since I was the only one who semi-knew the course. I forgot once, and if I hadn't muted the clips, you'd hear I scream out "UHHHHH..." and everyone by the course list screams back "GATE!" It was a really fun class though, and I won third.

Overall, this was a great show. I'm really happy how it turned out. I had a lot of fun. :)

this is super cute (: flirt looks like a giraffe, but a very attractive giraffe. and cisco looks good. don't be too hard on yourself girly, showing is difficult even at home at firstt. and congrats on your ribbon in the eq (:

Oh Meghan you did great! :) Flirt is such a cutiee. You're riding wonderfully and its great that you're also realizing your mistakes which is such a hugee part of developing as a rider. You really look awesome out theree WOOHOO
