  • @drbayoms Now that's a prediction!! haha What do you see that makes you think that? You think the Giants can pressure Brady out of the gun and cover the TEs??

  • @cavaleer

I believe the Giants are going to blow the Pats out. I think it will be close early. But it will end up the way Super Bowls used to be in the 80s & 90s.

  • @drbayoms I look at it this way. If I could only have one QB knowing nothing else about my team or staff, I'd take Marino over any QB except maybe an Aaron Rogers or Peyton Manning. JM was brilliant for that system and as clutch as QB has ever or will ever be, but I'd take Marino in a blind bet. ;-) What's your take on this year's SB?

  • @cavaleer

We disagree on Marino being the Greatest. But it's not like Marino had a lot of help. He had a Top Ten defense only 4 of his 17 years. While the teams that won the Super Bowl 16 of the 17 years he was in Miami had Top 10 Defenses. 13 of the 17 teams to win a Super Bowl during Marino's career had 1,000 yard rushers. Marino had a 1,000 yard rusher 1 time.

No doubt Marino had less to work with. I think Marino is Top 5. Not having a ring does not diminish his Greatness in my eyes.

  • @drbayoms Those are very good points and I generally agree. JJ and Walsh were the two greatest HCs I'd say. Couldn't be more different in style and method but they were both masters of the art. Harbaugh seems to be the next great one. If he'd been at a college with serious talent no doubt he'd have won an NC. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes for him to win a Ring. HOWEVER, Marino's the greatest. Any system, any team, any defense, no running game- he still wins. JM had great teams

  • @cavaleer

Seifert has a 2nd ring and Young has his only ring because Jerry Jones is the idiot who fired Jimmy Johnson. If Jerry does not fire Jimmy, Steve would still be looking for a ring as a starting QB.

Having an Engineer who designs and builds a great race car is fine. Without a world class driver you never know if the design is practical. Walsh is the greatest coach of all time, hands down. And Montana is the greatest QB of all time, contrary to what those in the MA area believe.

  • @filthyswit Yeah and Alex Smith was definitely a product of the system, it's like watching paint dry yuck!

  • @filthyswit SUPERBOWL RINGS?????? ZERO ???

  • @giantlew The Opening of this video is Mac Arthur park by Donna Summer They use to play great Disco Tunes during the hilights
