Beatles= tavern party rock Neil= Country surf rock depends what I'm in the mood for. Sometimes I like listening to Bieber when I am resolving problems with constipation I mean what ever is suitable.

beattles beattles beattles....,Listen I love the fab four as much as anyone,but if truth be told...while alot of their songs may have been innovative...just when they reached a point of greatness that only comes from creating....they got caught up in the acid movement.And if you want to know why so much of what was created in the late 60's is rejected by younger generations,ask them ...its because of the obvious masive drug use.

@M0j0S0D0pe420 I agree with you that there were many innovative bands during the 60's. The Stones, Dylan, the who, the beach boys... the list goes on and on... But i'd have to say that of all these bands, the beatles set the bar.

@gary11350 not true at all. The 60s music shouldn't be clicked in your head as "THE BEATLES". lots of INNOVATIVE bands came out of it, and pushed aside by beatlemania.
