Hi Diane! I still haven't gone to the Bob's Big Boy in Downey (I live around that area) but I'll have to go there soon. I remember going there (back in the late 1960's) when it was Harvey's Broiler....that was a great place!

The last time i was at a big boy. I returned to the hotel got a major migraine. And then my stomach wasn't feeling well went to the bathroom. And up came my dinner. I then felt i had to clean up the bathroom. Good times

Yeah. Times are a bit different today but honestly, I'd give up all the hi-tech toys and "enlightenment" that we superior humans have achieved if we could go back to a time when things were pure like they were in those days. And I wouldn't mind one of their cheeseburgers right about now. Hold the tomatoes. Ketchup, mustard and pickles please. Oh....and fries and a coke.

We've still got Fat Boy's 40's diner here in London, they moved it from Bishop's Gate to Trinity Bouy Wharf further out near the Thames. Haven't been to it since it moved.
