@MRCOWSLIP I agree. I think the 2nd season of Boardwalk was excellent but the ending was genuinely tragic (not happy Jimmy is dead). And knowing that the money made in that era from booze was insignificant in comparison to heroin is ominous in terms of the direction the series will take. So, I really hope series 3 isn't shit.

if you people remember, eli was the one who insisted on the hit put on nucky. james was apprehensive about killing nucky. yet eli lives and james gets killed off. james was my favorite character and i think it was a HUGE mistake to write him out. to the creators, you made a mistake and i won't be watching next season. PISS OFF!!!!

it was brave to kill off the biggest character on the show and it was the right thing to do in terms of the story, but there's obsoletely no one to relate to now, there's no likeable characters, i love the show but i think it will struggle to get the viewers for the next season.
Darmody was the best actor and most interesting character by far, who is going to replace him.
