I'll Remember April 2/7

Loosely based on actual reports of Japanese submarines patrolling the Pacific during WWII, this movie details events that transpire following the bombing of Pearl Harbor. It follows the life of four ten-year old California boys, Duke (Trevor Morgan), Pee Wee (Haley Joel Osment), Tyler (Richard Taylor Olsen) and Willy (Yuki Tokuhiro). When the boys go to an abandoned warehouse, which they use as their clubhouse, they find a Japanese sailor, who had washed up on the beach and was left stranded and wounded when his sub quickly dived. Wanting to become heroes, the boys take him prisoner. Duke, whose brother is fighting the Japanese overseas, keeps the capture a secret from his parents (Pam Dawber, Mark Harmon). But when the prisoner saves Duke from drowning, the boys befriend him, and eventually make a pact that will betray their own country.
