Ducati Streetfighter on Angeles Crest Highway

Taking the unbelievable Ducati Streetfighter for a spin on Angeles Crest Highway over Father's Day weekend. On this particular section clouds from the LA Basin were blowing through the lush Angeles National Forest and right across the road . It's always fun riding in the mist, just a few miles back we were wet with lacking visibility. Just a few miles ahead it was completely blue sky and perfect riding weather.

That rider should practice his corner entry and exits, going over the double yellow is just a bad habit whether are on coming vehicles or not. Perhaps he should take the MSF class so he won't ride like a squid...

@hankgs I think it is clear he is not actually riding "aggressively" otherwise he would be leaning it way into the corners and with good entry and exit. He happens to be one of the faster riders I have seen when he is actually riding.

We were merely taking a slow cruise on the Crest enjoying the afternoon.

Is the riding position really that upright or is he really tall? Every streetfighter vid I watch every guy's sitting at a different angle. The guy looks fugly sitting up like that...

@Montresor442 It isn't quite as upright as the hyper but it is close. The rider is 6'1" tall. It is slightly more forward than the hyper.

@tenchiCBR some people think that just because it has 100 turns per mile means nobody is on it, which means " HEY! it's my private race course!." of course, these guys probably werent doing more than sixty or sevendy, and atleast they wore helmets. in Hawaii they don't have that technology yet.

@spargett Unknown to me. A really boring video. Nice bike though. I guess people love Angeles Crest- Ca Hwy 2. Maybe that's the pull. Used to be great a ride on Calif HWY 2 until the CHP became a permanent presence on turn offs with radar and a down graded 45 mph on the front face up till the Angeles forest Hwy split.
