My name is Philip Lippman. In this video I am playing Paganini Caprice # 24 for solo violin inside a very well respected higher end violin shop in New York City.
The violin I used is a 1897 Scaiampella from Italy. Anybody who is interested in finding out more about this violin or purchasing should contact me at musicwithphilip@yahoo.com. This is a great violin!
I used a Sony Cyber-shot Digital Still Camera to make this video. On the day of this recording I had the opportunity to choose from a number of fine Italian violins in the shop and I choose the Scaiampella as my favorite. Thank you for your interest and for listening.

  • this is not you....

  • @peepsrock100 I needed time to think about this one. This is what I came up with. With all sincerity, and from the bottom of my heart, Thank you for the compliment. This video really is me! Thank you!

  • how much did you pay for that violin?

  • @CoolCucumbersGaming I didnt pay for it. I was only able to borrow it for an hour at a violin shop. It is valued at under $100000. I ran over my violin. It wasnt a good day!

  • 2:17 would make me barf if I was drunk. but really my name applies here more than ever, pa pa pa practice, maybe draw fret lines for a month. You're good, but not good enough to play this. The octave part sounded kinda cool though, not correct but weird.
