R&B singer Chico Debarge's NYE 2011 Show + Sings Switch, D'Angelo and DeBarge Tunes

The Shrine nightclub (Chicago) hosted its red-hot NYE 2011 party featuring a live concert by neo-soul icon Chico DeBarge. More than 600 revelers sang along with DeBarge on his hits including "No Guarantee", D'Angelo's "Brown Sugar", Switch's "I Call Your Name" and DeBarge's "I Like It."

'Always appreciated how Chico took his own path to music: 'sounded nothing like El and Bobby (two of the greatest falsetto's to ever get it done). Chico forged his own path as a DeBarge. 'Kind of reminds me of when Janet Jackson stepped out of her older siblings shadows.

Thank you for sharing. Chico DeBarge was totally awesome at the Shrine. I still keep all of his CDs; including "Addiction" in heavy rotation at home, work, and in my Bose car stereo. I can't wait for his next cd. Again, thank you so much for sharing. I tried watching the abc7chicago footage online (since I am from California) but the footage was grainy and very limited.
