I live in the UK and the British media refer to MLS as a pub league. Therefore when MLS teams beat British or European clubs, of course MLS fans are going to gloat...even though these are friendlies. If you tell someone they are crap and then you loose to them, they are going to rub in in your face, which is what MLS fans have done and rightly so. I don't believe they mean any disrespect to Chelsea, Celtic etc and are not claiming to be better than these clubs.

There are already alot of American's playing in Europe. Last season, Fulham FC had Keller, McBride, Bocanegra, Johnson and Dempsey. Then you've Bradely at Herenveen, Demerrit at Watford, Cherundalo in the Bundesliga and may more. When the USA played England at Wmebley a couple of months ago, only 2 MLS players featured in that game. The rest of the USA team were all European based.
