Baby bird

On my way to the hospital on Sunday morning I discovered a baby bird on my lawn. I don't know if the kitties had gotten him or he simply had a hard landing, he put up a good fight when I picked him up to put back in the tree.

i cought a baby bird when i came home from school.Ill tell you the whole story.First we were driving to my friends house and then we heard somthing.and then we ran over a baby bird but we kept it.And it got sick and died.=[[

thats so cool how you helped him!! i found a baby pigeon out on the streets once and i didnt hear his parents anywhere or see them and im guessing his nest was up high on a building, but i couldnt go up that high so i took him home and raised him. he grew up healthy and strong and then flew away.

I had a baby robin in my yard this morning. I got a paper towel and scooped him up and put him in the lowest crook of the tree (only one I could reach) I checked on him later and he was still there and his mama swooped up near me and made a fuss.

We had a baby robin in my backyard...until my cat got a hold of it and killed it- bit into it's neck and suffocated it. :( Poor thing, it's mommy still came for a couple more days and then finally "let go" of her baby.... :(

I'm guessing he fell. Baby birds learning to fly are not graceful. But the other bird is SUUURRE his mom.
