  • when I was a student Modelmaker I was lucky enough to make a model for J Soane exhibition. Of Master of space and light at The Royal Academy, a half size scale model of the family Tomb. then Margaret Richardson quater of Museum asked if it could be added to collection! At the time was the only second model ever added to collection, and stands on the ground floor! to this day I think? I spent many hour wondering around the museum, Just stunning. I felt blest! not bad going for a Bricklayer??

  • A unique building, and one of my favourite places in London. If you're lucky enough to be there on the first Tuesday of each month (I never have been) they give candlelit tours, whcih must be somethinh very special indeed.

  • Beautiful!

  • a truly great house and architect. London is just amazing. I went to Australia for a holiday and got totally bored.

  • i am proud to share the same name as this man

  • I've been to the house twice and it is a wondrous and astonishing place. If you are there when they open up the picture room you are in for a treat. The house only needs an hours visit, but it will be a very memorable hour. There are plans to expand the exhibition space in order to show off more of the collection with what looks like quite an extensive project that they aim to have finished in 2012 but I'm not sure when it's gonna start.

    It's free by the way.

    I'm going back for more.

  • Superb video, well presented. I've read a lot of books about British History, but I never knew this house existed, now I do after watching this vid'. Keep up the good work, I'll definitely subscribe to this channel.
