1. Right click on the transition on the timeline.

2. Go up to "Transition Properties" then click on it.

3. The tab "Video Event FX" should open.

4. Near the top right above the name of the preset there should be two items that look like jigsaw pieces.

5. Click on the jigsaw piece that has a red x over it.

6. The transition should be removed from the timeline and removed from your video.

the dragging the transition to the crossfade doesnt work for me it just shows the circle with a line thru it. Like it wont let me
