@PNWTransitFreak It is, in a sense, a pity. Seems like the public transport industry does not exist in North America. For what is shown here does not belong to the year 1994.
Looks like one of the retrievers (the round coil things at the back of the bus that house the ropes attached to the top-end of poles) is defective and it caused the poles not able to swivel and as a result it jumped off the wire.
I know some trolleybus cities have done away with retrievers in a bid to reduce maintanence costs as well as the number of external factors that contribute to dewirements.
I saw this happen around Market Street and Ellis and it knocked over another street cars too lol
