Can You Focus? Science of Consciousness (David Chalmers) An interview with David Chalmers discussing his theory of consciousness, the hard problem, and the explanatory gap. But I added a few twists. See if your consciousness can keep focus on this interview now. Bet it can't. Is this an experiment to test focus and consciousness or just someone being a smart-ass. Well maybe both. Enjoy.

  • This is EXACTLY what I think of Chalmer's "explanatory gap."

  • @ofermodi LMFAO!!! Good one!

  • 4:47 -- That's as far as I got. I've seen videos with Chalmers before, and I liked what he had to say, and that's why I tuned in to this one.

However, if the individual who put this thing together thinks that I'm going to keep struggling to hear what they're saying while all that exceedingly goofy singing and dancing is going on in the background, that individual is truly a dreamer.

    On to the next video!

  • @Purushadasa Thanks for trying anyways.

  • @femmeours See the description and read the comments, I'm sure it will help answer your questions.

  • This is a shame. What an opportunity to listen to Chalmers. Is this an experiment in consciousness as far as the Music video? Subliminal?

  • LMAO this was great. "That boy needs therapy"

  • I'm fine with explanatory gaps but this guy didn't do anything to even begin trying to close it. Not only he just keeps repeating himself from interview to interview, he even repeats himself within the same interview, give the same answer (in the form of a question) to different questions.

  • what the hell is going on in the background?

  • The weird thing is . . . . for some reason i *can* actually focus better on what David is saying. weeeeeeeiiird. zombies are good 4 somethin, twouls appear.
