Would a 1911 be good gun simply because you can get spare parts? I have looked at this gun I do like it.

@sailwed1 You shouldn't have to replace parts on any modern semi-auto unless you are making them cosmetically better. EAA services zastava in the US and you should be able to get replacement parts if needed.

Great video. Good clear views of the pistol. It's a shame to get rid of, but that's how it goes. These are great pistols. I was unsure about them at first for the same reason. I didn't know a lot about them. I got lucky & found mine at a pawn shop for $199. A guy bought it and didn't like the decocker & brought it back a week later so it was basically new. It's built like a tank. I just added a Pachmayer grip, modified some Beretta 92 magazines for it, & it's better than ever.
