Notice how Lucille Ball is allowed to actually sing in her own voice for this finale in keeping with her character. For the opening production number of DU BARRY WAS A LADY, she is dubbed by a more accomplished singer.

A SHOW STOPPERS & LEGENDS finale! Think of how this would have looked on a Broadway stage with all that talent. Lucille Ball was tall in stature by Hollywood standards. With high heels she is eye to eye with Red Skelton. Gene Kelly is relatively short. Notice the heels-lifts on his shoes are almost as high as Lucy's, yet he's still dwarfed by Lucy & Red. The staging and choreography also help hide this. Dancing cheek to cheek, Gene would appear too short for Lucy. That's the magic of Hollywood!
