Stuff like this happens all the time (minus the fight crap).

Red's line was straight up the berm. Black leaned on Red and when Red pulled away Black fell into him. Classic mistake in taking turns.

You never let yourself get unweighted to fall to the inside. Black should have backed off, used the berm up higher and made a high low passing Red to the inside. It would have set him (black) up perfect for the second straight.
