im dont care much about the sampling or the "technicalities" but i truly dig this song. so much emotion & truth in it. it speaks from a painful time in history. the music is badass too.

I'm tired of people complaining about Hip Hop & sampling, how do you think Hip Hop came to be?!? We are not trying to disrespect the excellence of great music of the past. I'm a musician also, just like J Dilla & Madlib and other great Hip Hop Producers who are musicians. I'd be more than happy to have my music sampled, I'd take it as a token of respect rather than a diss. Shit, I'd sample myself even!!!!!
