@dixon97a Thanks for your comment, I forwarded to the director, this is his reply - "3000 generations is a bit of a boo-boo if you take it as linear regression back through time . However, if you think of generations as the roots of a great tree, they spread in three dimensions, with depth and breadth. That's where we get the 3000 figure from."
