what i dont understand is why they called super nanny and not listen to what she had to teach... i mean if it was working for them, they wouldnt have to call super nanny at all right? they obviously need her help and the father just refuse to do what is inconvenient for him.

That father. What it boils down to with him is he's got the maturity of a lazy sullen teenager. He's not going to be told what to do and he damn sure won't be following instructions from women. He is threatened by Jo and so he sulks and behaves in an arrogant manner. Furthermore, it's too much of a pain in the bum for him to make any changes so he's just not going to bother. Paying lip service is a push for him. If I were Jo I'd have fooked off halfway through this BS.

@heavennoseven me too. i always wonder what the families jo frost has helped are doing today, right now.

I love how dad plays with the kids and they love it too!

i wonder how they are doing today.

jo is going easy on e dad not because she's afraid of him, but because ultimately he's still e parent, and it's his choice on how to deal with his own kids. she's being respectful.

whys jo going so easy on him for? its as if shes afraid of upsetting him

Mom's the firm foundation here and Dad is just an ornament. Extremely glad that my hubby was and is firm and consistent with our kids and supports me with them. You need a united wall of discipline with kids. It's hard when it's one sided.

@XfishX I think the dad was getting the message more when they showed the update. Fingers crossed, as they're a really lovely family. Totally agree with you about acceptance of others' opinions - just think what a boring world this would be if we were all the same!

@chloerockchick1 Jo doesn't yet have any kids of her own. She was recently on TV here in England saying that she wants to slow her career down a bit so that she can concentrate on finding a husband & starting a family. I think she's really great. I don't have kids myself, but I get on really well with them. Sometimes it's easier to be on the outside looking in, though. You can see & understand with an objective eye what the children are REALLY saying behind their words & body language. xx
Raising a child is the hardest job in the world, its not just moms obligation to do all the work.I think both parents should help together....the dads got an attitude

This guy pisses me off. If he just did what he was told then the techniques would work so much better in the long run.
