Olivia Hussey ("Romeo And Juliet")

Shakespear's Juliet was only 13 nearly 14. Olivia was only 15/16 when she played Juliet. It was the first time that the couple were played by such young actors. Almost the same age as in the play. If you have not seen it try to. She is so beautiful, but it is way beyond that. Zeferrelli captured that head over heals intence love which consumed the young couple. One was absorbed into the whole atmosphere of the time, and the costumes were just stunning. The best production ever, so far :)

Thanks for the reply. Romeo and Juliet remains a favorite film. Franco Zeferelli's

minute details to the time and place were perfect; costumes, the fair hair of many Italians,but to mention a few. Sorry I had a gaelic name creidsinn before , went round in circles trying to get it back. Ended up still with a scottish flavor !
