Nice bike mate. If you want more power from an after market exhaust you need to re-jet the carburettor and adjust the idle speed.
My DR-Z400SM has a full titanium exhaust system and the power it produces is about 25% more than the OEM exhaust and carby settings.
But still, they are awesome to ride, especially on a race track. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed,.
