I suffered from child abuse both physical and mental. I'm grown up now but the consequences on my life have been devastating. This woman speaks the truth, your child is precious. Guide them, teach them don't scar them.

In hebrews 12:09-10 we see a comparison being done between the chastising of our flesh by our earthly fathers and the non-violent chastising of God unto his children. in verse 10 it shows that the only form of chastisment that is profitable to the one receiving it is that which comes from God while that done unto our flesh by our fathers is not profitable to us but only feeds the pleasures of those that inflict it !

Thats why white ppl get no respect from their parents.Discipline is necessary if drug dealers were killed if they sold drugs guess what?Their would be no dealers viseversa with homosexuality

Indeed, disciplining kids should happen without emotions from the parents side.
Emotions come up when our brain has the need for a chemical, an instinct. It will steer our thoughts and actions, and we can regret afterwards.
So, good tip is:
If your kid triggers a bad emotion, take a deep breath before you react. And take enough time to concider the "crime" and talk first (like: you know that wasn't right, not?)
The punnishment doesn't have to be big, the signal is given quickly.

according to this my Dad's abused me :(
@XxMsCrisy91xX, you are absolutely right! Celebrating the child's lessons learned encourages the child to do better the next time. Reducing the fear factor. Thank you for your comment~

Any physical punishment causes fear, even the threat of it being a possible at any time.
Your afried of it all the time, when there is no issues being raised against you, because you know it is going to happen eventually.
Your comments so do not work.

Fear is not bad, fear is a natural emergency break, not a kill switch. Fear lets us know something is not right but no one should live in fear for their lives or personal safety. It is not that physical punishment is used, it is that it is abused... excessive use of force... torture... that is ABUSE. A child who has never been abused is not expecting to be abused eventually. Remember, physical punishment isn't the only form of discipline that invokes fear. I'd not comment if it didn't work.

when you fear your "parent"
BeNePh89 3 years ago
yes, "parent" and please remember child abuse and neglect are not "in the home" issues, they take place anywhere, by anyone but primarily by those left in authority over the safety of the child/ren. Thank you for your comment... love and light go with you.
