This is a fan made Saw 8 complete script (third revision).

We really do need a Saw 8. So much so that we decided to write one.

Let us know what you think so far in the comments.

Also if there are any loose ends that you feel need to be tied up or things to be further explained from within the current Saw 1 to 7 films, let us know and we'll look in to working them out within the script.

If you haven't got annotations on for the You-Tube video, you might want to put it on as if there are any obvious spelling errors etc, we usually fix them up via the You-Tube annotations as well as in the main script file on our drive.

SO WHAT HAS CHANGED SINCE REVISION II?

Obviously spelling corrections etc. A few scenes have been extended or re-worded dialogue between some of the characters. Additional flash back scenes also included. The ending has been expanded. Oh, and not to mention there is an entire 'main game' with eight new characters set in an abandoned hospital included in the script now.

We're still reviewing it, unsure as to if anything else should be changed, reworded, expanded, added or taken out... but do let us know if you have any thoughts about these things.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed writing it.

Let's hope Lionsgate or Twisted Pictures stumble across this before they give us something else that is bad and call it Saw 4D.

As much as Nicole and I both agree that Saw 3D just should never have existed or been delivered to us in the way in which it was... we have stuck to it as ''cannon'' and continued our script from it, attempting to fill in the blanks which lead the characters to where they ended up in Saw 3D.

For those of you who find it hard to read scripts in video form on You-Tube, please find a downloadable PDF version of the Saw 8 Fan Script, revision 3 here:

Many thanks. :)

  • I just hope that when people read this, they don't just jump to Saw wiki and then say, 'But Adam is dead.' or 'The shackle on the wrong foot was a director mistake' etc and so on.

Yes, we know this. Yes the wiki's have written out the stories for us and had other fans add their 2c also.

All we ask is that you have watched all seven films, then read this script in full as a continuation.

After that, see if things make a little more sense over all. Was it enjoyable, did we miss something? etc.

  • So far, this is pretty much finalised. There are a couple of additional flashbacks Nicole and I are speaking about to flesh out a couple of scenes, but story-wise, it's pretty much solid. If Lionsgate or Twisted Pictures do stumble across it, they will notice they have enough to make about two movies from this, or one epic one.

  • @ChaosRocket I respect your opinion, ChaosRocket, but I think Gordon was horribly out of character in Saw 3D. In Saw I, he took the time to crawl over to Adam and comfort him when he could've just crawled away. In Saw 3D, not only did he not give a shit about "Adam's" (quotations added to tie in with our version) corpse, but he was helping the guy who kidnapped his wife and daughter for no good reason. We're simply trying to find a logical way to explain that.

  • @GoHAddOn Yeah, I'm done reading the script now, thanks for posting it :) I didn't personally feel Gordon was out of character in Saw 3D, but the way he acts in your script also seems reasonable, considering the back story you gave him.

  • The script is trying to fill in the blanks and bring Adam back in a believable way... as well as introduce new twists and turns as a Saw film generally would.

  • @ChaosRocket

Sorry just having flash backs to a forum conversation I was having the other week. Someone was attempting to debate my script, had not even read it, and was just throwing saw wikia's and cannon saw feeds at me. I was like, dude, just read the script.

That's the problem with the Saw films and where they took us, we felt like Gordon didn't care and was a bit out of character, as well as us being told Adam is dead.

The idea of the script is to attempt to reverse that believably...

  • @GoHAddOn Yeah I get that he didn't do that in your script. I was just saying that based solely on the canon movies, I feel like Gordon didn't care about Adam at all. Like I said, it wasn't meant to be any insult to you or your writing...a person could write a script that contains romance between two characters without it being a "16 year old love story."

  • @ChaosRocket

I had no idea what Chainshipping was until I googled it and that's what google told me it was.

He didn't leave Adam in the bathroom to die. He said he will be back, he promises. He sent John Kramer back to get him. ...okay... I am presuming you read the script so I shouldn't have to be typing this.

And yes the official saw site says he is dead... again... you read the script and it explains how he survives...

    Anyway, thank you for reading.

  • @GoHAddOn People who say that- that they're "all 16 year old girls obsessed with Whannel"- are generally people who hate Chainshipping or shipping in general. I don't like any shippings in Saw at all, but I like shippings in other fandoms, and I'm also in my 30s.

Personally, I think Gordon didn't care about Adam at all because he left him in the bathroom to die. It's possible Adam's alive but I think the movies were meant to imply he's dead, and the official Saw site said he's dead.

  • @ChaosRocket

It truly wasn't meant to be written as a sixteen year old female love story of Adam and Gordon. I am sorry if that is what you got out of it, that definitely was not the intention.

I would like to think that my writing is a little better than that, to be honest.

The 4th revision is going through a lot of grammar corrections. Spelling mistakes we may have overlooked, fixed. Also may be some shuffling of paragraphs.

However, the main body of the story should be the same.
