OPEN SCIENCE FOR ALL THE PEOPLE
CiOb, Open Science its a university association, founded on 2008 in the Faculty of Biology of the University of Barcelona, with the intention to approach science and environment to society through a fresh, dynamic and clear language.
The idea arises from the necessity to foment a communication channel that serves to approach science to people.

Therefore, the main objective of Open Science is to promote the investigation, the divulgation and the education of sciences and environment exploring new formats and ways of expression like arts, audio-visuals or videogames among others, or to be like an echo for other campaigns and projects that we considered of special interest.

CiOb, Ciència Oberta, es una asociación universitaria, fundada en 2008 en la Facultad de Biología de la UB, con la intención de acercar la ciencia y el medio ambiente a la sociedad a través de un lenguaje fresco, directo y claro.
La idea surge de la necesidad de fomentar un canal de comunicación que sepa acercar la ciencia a la gente.
Por esta razón, el principal objetivo de Ciència Oberta es promover la investigación, la divulgación y la educación de las ciencias y del medio ambiente explorando nuevos formatos y maneras de expresión como el arte, los audiovisuales o los videojuegos entre otros, o haciéndonos eco de otras campañas y proyectos que consideramos de especial interés.
