i work for t-mobile as well. what happens is every few phones they will choose a "champion" for a new phone. that person then receives a free one about 1-2 months before it launches so they know the in and outs of the phone and can really push the sales for em. I got the one for my store. I don't know if they sent out each color or if we all have the same one. Mine is black. That is how people here in the U.S. have the phone already.
