This group of Ward Singers was before I became acquainted with Gospel Music. Once I became acquainted, I could not get enough of Clara and the Ward Singers. I was 12 years old (1959) and stillI enjoy hearing the many, many different groups of Clara Ward Singers (2011). Read the book, HOW I GOT OVER. Jimmyjimmyist.

@bcom11 Clara sings from :36 till :50, the Henrietta Waddy in the middle, and Marion takes over at the end with the "Trust God, when your hungry..."

God Bless you for these posts. I am continually amazed at you and the other 2 that seem to scoop each other to see who can pull another song out of you alls personal archive!!!(Smile) It is a blessing to hear these songs and recall these pioneers who paved the way for the kids today. May Clara and her peers who have gone Rest In Peace.
