There is an inscripted stone in the entrance of government building in skopje for the pride of Ancient Macedonians :

μακεδονιαρχων των ναων τη πατριδι συν παντι τω κοσμω τω θκτ' ετει

I'm sure a "Macedonian" will be able to translate the language of their ancestors.

I am Greek,Corinthian and I DO understand those words..

The Athenians,the Cretans,the Spartans,the Larissians...Every Greek person is able to translate that.

I don't know about your "Macedonian" friends..

@MrTriton41 Vardarska was the name that was given by the Serbs ,kingdom Jugoslavia was separeted administrative on teritorial units called banovina,every banovina got it's name by main river in region ,so name of this region under the ottoman empire was Macedonia,Bulgarians are in Bulgaria,we are Macedonians,my ancestors are born and lived in Northern part of Greece or Egejska Makedonija ,who told them in Greece that they are Macedonians ,the only language they know was macedonian ,ohi greek

@istanbulTurki What is there to give up. Even the word Macedonia is Greek.

The real Macedonian region is in Greece , you know where Alexander the great was born.

Fyrom was never part of Macedonia. Communist renamed the country Macedonia(from Vardarska) and its Bulgarian people "Macedonians"

What about the real Macedonians in Greece that actually lives on the land and speaks the language of the ancient Macedonians.  They have no human rights to keep their name , identity and history?
