The Chilly Winds (Jim Moran, John Birchler, and Bruce Blazej, left to right in the video) with Dave Batti on bass perform a classic Woody Guthrie song from the 1930s Dust Bowl era. The song has been covered scores of times on record, most notably by Guthrie's close friend Cisco Houston. The Chilly Winds arrangement, including Dave's driving bass introduction, is derived from that of the original Kingston Trio from their 1960 album "Make Way."
After a hiatus of a few months, we'll be adding more new songs to our channel over the next several weeks.
