  • Do they have this for first timers or, would it be best to get an electric model first? I plan on buying one of these. Right now I'm thinking of getting the nitro model. Cause I like those way better than electric.

  • @RTiger18 Its all a matter of who you have at hand to train you. I learnt by myself with a simulator and a electric heli with a training bar. If you've got a field nearby and people who fly nitros too, go ahead and get the nitro one and get them to help you out. if you dont, go electric for a first heli and when you get good, get yourself a nitro bird . hope this helps and happy flying!

  • sounds like a weed whacker lol. I like yoour vid

  • @daflammablechicken yeah it does, and it can whack weeds too! thanks man.

  • dats what ai mean,so nitros have gears too?

Im a newbie with a nitro. My main complaint is that as a newbie you tend to spend a lot of time sliding around on the ground and doing "bunny hops" in a small area with training gear. As you are doing this the nitro gets ALL OVER the helicopter. After 2 tanks or so the oil from the nitro is all over everything. Its messy. This would not be such an issue if you could hover at a decent height, or do forward flight. If I had to do it again, I would probably start with a large electric.
