There is someone
In this world
Who would love me
If they knew me,
And I would love them too.
We would tell each other everything -
Share with each other anything
And know each other through and through.

But as it is,
The world now,
Perhaps we will not meet;
And running through it still,
With racing heart and weary feet,
Our searching souls
Will find nought
On our paths
Of that we so sought
In this short breath
Before the setting of our sun.

Curse the parallel lines
Of our lives
For how I hoped
Theyd cross -
So that you might hold me
In your arms
And save me
From my loss.

Raven, after viewing your video I was left, for a long long while, just staring at the comment box not really knowing what to say. This was that good! I really wanted to write something, I had to, but anything I could say would just be a gross understatement. So, I'll just say your poem is one of the best I have found in a very long time: it's beautiful, quite quite sad, romantic and yet tragically (...)

The last raven featured ... a specially lucky raven it was in this wide weary world. It witnessed the meeting of two young gifted magical minds.

I imagine it flew away just so it could show the splendor in the symmetry of its feathers...

...feathers only to be seen best on the back side.
