i like this version better because frankley i think u2 is crap im srry but this version is just way better then the original i feel it has more emotion in it, the original is to fast for my liking......

i grew up on u2 and paramore is my favourite band. so i love them both. and i think both their versions of this song are awesome :)

I'm Irish. I never think the purpose of covers is to 'beat' the original. I think this is a great version of a timeless song.

U2 is fantastic and yes they're version of the song is obviously more emotional cause Bono lived in Ireland.
I U2's original version better, even though I love paramore more that U2. but this is my opinion. they're both giants of their respective genres and you can't compare them
also, Paramore idolizes U2, along with No Doubt and Jimmy Eat world. and yes im pretty sure they know what the song is about...
