The man reacts on the actual explosion inside the Tower only. It is clearly noticeable. When it comes to the plane - you can see that the plane merely digitally erases itself upon disappearing inside the Tower - not even a slightest part of a plane falls back onto the sidewalks. And what is the most ridiculous - the plane does not even reduce its speed upon "penetrating" the Tower.... planes also travel really quickly and have a lot of thrust behind them. The side of that building is glass. The towers' infrastructure is on the inside. not supported at the edges like a traditional building. Quite capable of cutting through… ahem GLASS. Ever seen a copper bullet cut things up?
