You cannot use man's logic to explain any scientific query. When science has a question, they work to discover the answers. When religious people try to get an answer to a scientific query, they either come up with what they think is logical and often it is a god somewhere who did it. In their case no answer was really found and the case is closed. Wonder if Einstein was one of the Discovery Institute's team, I think not, as we'd still be a long way from what we know is fact now.

You in your battle against the forces of ignorance truly is the best analogy to the David and Goliath story I have come across in a long time.

"The one in control is the "designer" of the conditions."
Is that why everything is indistinguishable from random chance?
He must know bugger-all about design. Maybe if he'd stayed in school he'd learn how to get it right after a few hundred million years, huh?

@DeathofSpeech Yes I am aware, as you say, " ....in controlled conditions" The one in control is the "designer" of the conditions.

"Intelligent Design is based on the idea that new information can be added, just not started..."
So, maybe you can elaborate on why that is.
Nitrogenous bases have been observed to spontaneously polymerize in controlled conditions... identical to conditions found in nature.
We also know that the nitrogenous bases can be spontaneously generated from simple chemistry.
What's the problem? If it is observed to happen, why can't it?
Hello, do mutations add information or tinker and monkey with what's already there? I'm afraid it's the later. So, they haven't been refuted. Ciao!
