@seminoleseminole1 If you mean the girl in the white T-shirt, that was a new piece choreographed by Africa Guzman called "From the Inside".

cool looking choreography at the beginning; I wonder what ballet that comes from

I love these dancers...they're not stick thin and they look so expressive! :)

Hi--what do you think about Joffrey's SI---specifically the intensive track? Thanks!

@avatarkatara1001 The summer intensive? It's great. I had a great time there my first year. They get teachers from all over the place, many which have actually danced with Joffrey before, and including current principal dancers such as Maria Kowroski and Daniel Ulbricht. You do lots of different styles of dance. If you've just taken a break though, you'll definitely feel it!

@livetodance1995 This company is comprised of just the ballet trainees.

@jaqsli do you recommend the jazz/contemporary trainee program or the ballet trainee program more? i got scholarships to both and i dont know what to go for !

@livetodance1995 It really depends what kind of dancing your prefer. The ballet trainee is pretty classical. And it depends whether you're in the company or not. We do technique class every morning followed by pointe or partnering, then in the afternoons, the company rehearses while everyone else takes anatomy, dance history, repertoire or contemporary class etc. I think the Jazz/Contemporary trainees do technique in the morning and the rest of the day is spent doing jazz and contemporary dance.
