This video continues where part 1 left off. I could not get the VGA to work, so I called Open Labs tech support, but no one was available. So I went online to their live webcast and Sean Anderson helped me get it working.

  • wow, your studio looks a hole lot better .

  • @unodaproducer

    I agree. Thanks!

  • ok so how do u do it thru fl....i have fl 7 xxl...thx

  • Several ways to do it. The easiest way is to export it to a wav in FL. Then insert that wav file to a track in Reaper.

  • hey how do you get the beats that u made on the guru register as a wave on the reaper..thx keep da vids going

  • I don't. I keep the info as midi in FL and rewire it to Reaper. I never convert it to wav. I could if I wanted to though.

  • i am not really impressed only because i haven't yet heard good acoustic sounds come stock with openlabs like on the yamaha motif or kurzweil. i think open labs need to either lower the price or include some premium plugins like synthology ivory (not LE, but full version), musiclab real guitar, bfd drums (full version), etc. Also, they should replace the presonus card on the front with something 24bit/192k.

  • its hard to realize you are watching videos of the internet on a keyboard

  • Open labs keyboard does come with some good sounds, but it is up to the buyer to buy his or her favor software instrument bundles or tweak their sounds. As for the yamaha motif or kurzweil, you have to tweak the sounds on the keyboard to their own specification as well. That's why they comes with built in effects and a user bank. Open labs is a open platform and it allows you to add you own sounds according to your preference. The sounds included is just to get you started making music.

  • drum beat tooooooo busy .....
