that's b/c there is a performance being given without percussionists, wtf!!! Hung Gar performances and drummers are like horses and carriages!!!

  • don't be mean. :)

  • this is pretty boring.

  • I actually believe he called it the Hunting Spear. I have seen another set called Plum Flower Spear, but it also went by a different name Four Door Plum Flower Spear. Don't get caught up in the name. Over time techniques change, so the sets take on a slight different appearance. At the end of the day what matters is that the techniques work and that the intent is there. This is a demonstration. In a fight you would not do these techninques the same way, but you would a version of them.

  • Too bad some people with low self-esteem have to belittle what other people do to make them feel good. I study Hung Gar and this is Plum Flower Spear in my lineage. Good effort. We do the set a bit different, but as long as there is a martial application for what you do, it works.

  • only moves , with no power ...

  • Actually it is the Hung Gar Plum Flower Spear not made up. But not done with Hung gar energy at all. Nicely done nonetheless, just not in the Hung gar manner.

  • This isn't the Plum Flower Spear we do in Hung Gar --- regardless of if he made it up I like it!!!!!

  • coz it aint done by chinese, fake western wannabes.

  • why does this only have two stars, this is pretty good, i dont study kung fu ((i study muay thai)) but ive taken Kempo before and there was a kata similar to this there, he did pretty good :)
