Indeed, well while I disagree with you and we could agrue endlessly over who's right and who's wrong, I see your point. Although, to me, unless Ubisoft announce a Rayman game called "Rayman 4" or something along those lines, I will always consider Rayman Origins to be Rayman 4.

True true, just remember what happen to "Kirby: Return to Dreamland" where it took them almost 8-9 years to finish the game cancelling the original slate of the game. still, interesting - I think they might make the Game. :D

Those pictures are concept art for the 2005 Rayman 4, and yes they are interesting, but just because they were released this year doesn't mean that it's still being developed. If it was still being developed(Which would mean that it's been in development for around 7 years), then I doubt all they'd have would be Concept Art.

The page on Ray Wiki of the cancelled Rayman 4 title talks about a game that was supposedly being made some time in 2005-2006, but then Ubisoft came up with the Rabbids, and Raving Rabbids was born, but not as we know it. It was supposed to be a 3D Platformer, but then when Ubisoft got the Wii Devkit, they didn't know what to do with it, so they made the game we're familiar with today. Then, they announced that there would be a "real" Rayman game after Rabbids Go Home, and they made Origins.

Go on Ray Wiki, go on the page of Rayman 4 (canceled) and go to the bottom of the page, many pictures have been release in 2012 showing off some of the levels in the game. Like the "World Tree" and the "Organic Caves". Don't just say no, check first.

    A) Rayman Origins is the 4th major Rayman game(Raving Rabbids doesn't count).

And B) You have provided no proof that what you've said is true.

Actually no, rayman origins is actually a spin-off like rayman legends. Rayman 4 is still in the making.
