@hunkyzombie When i did this model it was mostly simple shapes, so it was pretty easy to make and using 3ds max i build one half of the dreadnaught then mirror it to make the full model. but just let your imagination go wild, i made this to see how well i could do it.
really good man :) i'm just getting into this modelling and animation malarky myself, n it gives a whole new level of appreciation when looking at this kinda thing :)
Quick question though, dreadnaughts look fairly geometric n symmetrical - are they fairly easy to get the basic jist of when modelling? I'm just planning my first proper solo project n was thinking about possible things to make that havent been done 1000s of times before..
