Great stuff. Was it really 21 years ago? I remember listening to the James Stannage show between 10pm - 2am Monday-Thursday, and he also did the Bald, Fat Hippy Show on Saturday nights between 8-11pm where he just played some quality music with no phone-ins. I met James once at Piccadilly Plaza after Argentina had beaten Italy. Didn't know the scoreline but Stannage bounced up the staircase at Piccadilly Plaza, complaining "f**king penalties!" and then went in to do his show. Good memories!

It's amazing how many jingles I could still remember the words to.

Does anyone remember the Stannage get together in Trafford Park? 'Heartlands' I think the club was called. Stannage kissed my hand that night!
