Percy sounds like Bill and Ben Flower pot men in 1930s when he is in the sea.

@SSBBMasterL5 TUGS came later between Series 2 and 3 of TTTE. I rather suspect it was only because TUGS wasn't a huge hit (iirc) that they went and made more Thomas and wrote their own material, thus supplanting the Awdrys. But this is an old bugbear of mine as fellow posters are all too aware!

@93DOL John is my second favourite illustrator. I like Peter and Gunvor Edwards the best. I like his keen but not over done detail, and facial expressions. I like Edwards the best because of they keep everything in perfect scale, and the colour they give it.

I never said who's narration this was.

This is Willie Rushton's narration. Not NewController01's narration.

Sorry.

No worries I'm not offended. I'm 36 but I have a few archaic turns of phrase (like the word archaic lol).
-
no he's not, and keep your gay-ass comments to yourself.
And besides this is not newcontroller01 narrating this dumbass!

Nobody who isn't like 70 says 'Littl'un'.
Rushton's take on "You are a very disobedient engine!" always put the fear of God up me when I was a littl'un. Great to hear it again thanks NewController01!

Pity the TV version had Percy not crashing through the buffers and slithering into the sea but landing with a tiny splash in an overglorified puddle. Guess they couldn't help their limited budget though...
