This is a video of Roger Federer hitting forehand and backhand volleys in slow motion HD. This clip was filmed at the 2010 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, CA ( http://www.bnpparibasopen.org ). Federer was beaten in the third round of the tournament by Marcos Baghdatis.

  • @buku1234 because anybody can hit a volley like Roger Federer, but the difference between him and the rest, is that he can make those volleys 98/100, while most will make 70/100. and those mistakes come mostly from mental lapses, rather than bad technique.

  • if you could copy Roger's forehand technique, why don't you become Roger then?

  • It's actually the exact opposite of what you think. I asked the question because the shirt surprisingly doesn't look like it's from Nike. I don't see "Nike" or the Nike swoosh anywhere on it, just like FYB's videos of Federer practicing at BNP with a black shirt that says "for life" many times on it. Everything else he's wearing is from Nike except for the Rolex watch of course.

  • You could see Clijsters tryin to scope out Rogers technique there.
