@MrTmann14 I really doubt that an an octocontrabass is playing in the background music. It just sounds like an ordinary clarinet choir with, at the lowest, a contrabass clarinet.

Is that the Octocontrabass I hear in this piece, or is it the octocontralto playing those really deep notes?

it is the octocontralto, in fact the octocontrabass doesn't play so much, many pads should be changed...

is the mouthpiece on that the same size as the octocontralto

@MrTmann14 yes, exacltly the same size, even if the bore of the octocontrabass is bigger than the octocontralto
