The young man from Hibbing released Highway 61 Revisited in 1965, and the rest, as they say, is history. Or is it? From his roots in Hibbing, to his rise as a cultural icon in New York, to his prominence on the worldwide stage, University of Minnesota professor Thomas Swiss discusses Bob Dylan's roots in Minnesota and how they have firmly grounded him as an international cultural and musical icon. Swiss, a College of Education and Human Development professor also breaks down how Dylan had an impact on other musicians and his longevity as an artist.
