The Battle is the LORD'S

This morning the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said; "THE Battle is THE LORDS". You know, much of the time we get our eyes off of Jesus and start the think the battle is ours, that we need to fight the good fight, which is true, we do need to fight, but the battle, it belongs to Jesus. If we start to think that we are the ones fighting and we are the ones who are triumphant, that is when we fall, because we have our eyes off of Jesus. How we are girded with truth and how we put on the full armor of God, is by being on our knees in prayer, and asking for the Holy Spirit to fill us, THAT is the sword of the spirit. The BIBLE Is NOT the sword of the spirit. You can quote as many verses to warred off Satan as you like, but Satan knows more verses, he knows the Bible better. The way that we are protected is by crying out to Jesus and asking Jesus to protect us, we have to fix our eyes on Him, and He goes before us, He goes behind us. All we do is continue to pray, and ask Him to continue to protect us. Is your faith in Jesus, or are you trying to fight your own fight? May the grace of Jesus be with you.

To be honest God protects us when he wants to. Sometimes he will allow things to happen to us to strengthen our faith.If that was the case most of the disciples would not have been martyrs

ITS ALL ABOUT RECEIVING THE SPIRIT! • 2 Corinthians 13:5 - "Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you--unless, of course, you fail the test?" Rom 8:9 . And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ." THE GOSPEL IS VITAL!!!! • John 8:31 - "IF you ABIDE in my word, you are TRULY my disciples."

@JesusGaveMeNewSoul The Holy Spirit will never contradict the testimony of the Bible. It testifies of the truth. Only problem is for most the Bible is their god. Has your Bible led you to your knees before Jesus?

@warningthepeople We are sheep sent ot the slaughter God said dont fear what men will do to you but fear him who will cast both body and soul in hell fear HIM (JESUS) I am just being honest we basically signed away our lives in blood when we said we wanted to be Christians and follow Jesus.

Romans 10.3 is very alive in the church age today: Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. Its not our Spirit that we seek to prove to God is rightoues. Jesus places in us HIS SPIRIT if we ask, seek holiness not loving sin at all. IF we love temptation, any temptations, then we are not firm in the Lord. ASK for Christ to give you HIS HATRED for all sin, beg for this people, earnestly.

LOVE OF SEXUALLY immorality, seeking money/fame & idolatry, THREE of the most crucial sins I had to overcome after the Lord empowered me with His Spirit. I still fight today, but my fight is in my heart asking the Lord to help me, I can't do it, I can plant, HE waters, even in myself. WE must seek holiness (not that we can attain it) knowing that if we seek, if we hope asking for Him to come help us, HE can take us the rest of the way. WE must want to be PERFECT and no less than that.

The battle is the Lords. ALL we can do is put armor on and keep it on, we give Satan power by temptations. All we do is put the armor on and plant seeds, we are nothing. HE is everything, I love this message. You are right, the bible is misused by most, i see where you're coming from. Lord showed me most read for wisdom/knowledge not holiness, deceiving themselves. Not that wisdom is bad, but Christ's wisdom is in the SPIRIT that they do not have, thinking they do. Holiness.

1 John 2:27 "...and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit." --- ONE MUST be on their knees until the Spirit of Christ comes with power into them & with fire burning up the nature of sin inside leading them to holiness. This takes years AFTER the Spirit comes, or not, depending on how meek the person is, I WAS NOT until recently convicted with much FIRE within to burn up that nature.

@warningthepeople ONE MUST be ONE with Christ in Spirit and TRUTH. MOTIVE in reading the word matters more than the mechanics of reading it. HATING SIN while you do or hating the fact that you love it.

@warningthepeople So yes, the SPIRIT HE gave me needs the BIBLE more than bread I eat, YET the bible alone is useless unless one admits they are evil, admitting they need a new heart, admitting IF this is true or if they are deceiving themselves: • Romans 8:9 -- "You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And IF anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ."
