If the usb output of the board is a steady ON, you have the 2040 board, not the 2120.
You can wire the 2040 using a Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) switch, just connect the center terminal to the common ground of the switch and the two outer terminals to the 2040's J1 or J2 inputs. Then you can program the board to control any supported flight function using the two separate ASSIGNMENT Settings as Landing Lights ON - Landing Lights OFF, ect

@nigel45212 it should work, just google how to hook up a toggle switch with a LED on it, or try youtube

what about toggle switches with an led on it can that work with it?
-
can you hook a momentary switch to that board which has 3 wires?

Hello! I want know when you buy the 2120 and the toggle switches are you supplied with the cable that connects the two?
This board will work with LEDs, but the toggle switch must be a DPDT (Double pole double throw) type. The first set of contacts are to be wired to the switch input on the board. The second set of contacts can be wired with an LED as a simple series circuit; Positive voltage to the Toggle switch; then the LED, 330 ohm resistor; then to ground.

Our 2160 (Single-Shot Pulse Generator) is more suitable for momentary push buttons. The 2120 was designed for use with toggle switches, not push buttons.

When purchased you get the 2120 board and Twenty 2-pin female connectors. The USB cable is not included but can be purchased on our Parts Page.

i have seen all the video, but what about using a joystick and than the 2120 together on flight simulator? i can only choose one of them! how to use both of them?

Hi, No need to choose; Both the 2120 and a joystick (or even a Flight Yoke) will operate together on the same computer without and conflicts. Just plug both into an unused usb port on the computer. If you wish, you can plug more then one 2120 board into the usb port without any problems. Each 2120 board has an unique serial number so your computer can keep track on how each board is program with the needed flight functions.

So, is the 2120 and 20 switches all i need to get this to work, or do i need any other parts? Also, how does the 2120 connect to the computer? do i need another cable? And, do the SPST Toggle Switch, Mini-Push Button Switch and the standard Toggle Switches (SPST) all work with the 2120, or only the Toggle Switches (SPST)? and lastly (sorry for all the questions)! can they be shipped to the UK?
Thanks in advance, Jack :)

@j4cko56 Hi Jack, The 2120 and up to 20 Toggle Switches and a Series "B" USB Cable is all you need to get the board working. The 2120 plugs into any unused USB Port on the computer. The 2120 does accept standard and miniature toggle switches, but if you need a board for Min-Push Button Switches, I recommend our 2040 board. And lastly, we do ship to the UK
