Apocalypse Pond

This is the first model warship video I ever made. It is composed entirely of footage from the 2004 battle season, with music from Peter Pan. enjoy!
FYI, my ship, the Scharnhorst, is the very dark grey one with light grey bow and stern, and a jagged pattern of white masking tape patches.
My brother's ship (the Morroccan Mole) is the blue-and-grey camouflaged transport seen at the very beginning.
Other identifiable ships include USS Wisconsin, HMS Warspite, DKM Tirpitz, IJN Mamiya Maru, IJN Mehosi Maru, FNS Mogador, IJN Shimakaze, USS Oregon City, RM Capitani Romani, FNS Surcouf, DKM Z-31, HMS Abdiel, FNS Emile Bertin, and FNS Le Fantasque.

@captaindaveification The first step to get involved is to google-search the RC Naval Combat website and introduce yourself on the forum there. The friendly people there will help you get in contact with your nearest club, and help you build your first ship.

what about big gun hardware

@mom352 The hardware is essentially the same, except instead of small CO2 bottles and big batteries, it's the other way around. The components are the same, just different sizes of each, which Strike already carries. It's really only the cannons that are holding things up.

i heard that strike models is coming out with big gun kits like the fast gun kits and big gun hardware is this true

@mom352 Yes, it is true. I have seen his prototypes, it is just a matter of time before he starts taking orders and producing his Big Gun cannons. Once he's got Big Gun cannons, the full kits will follow shortly.

@mom352 Either one will be a good starter boat. HMS pow is probably a better beginner boat, since you can arm just the two quads and have a cheaper, more reliable ship with comparable firepower to the Iowa.
