I can't understand why there are some people who don't support abortion in cases of health of the mother.

a) The same arguments for self defense not being chargeable as murder apply here.

b) These conditions often kill both mother and child, so it isn't save one or the other... it's usually save 1 or neither.

Not to mention that up until very recently Christians thought that ensoulment took place when the fetus was able to move within the womb, which is roughly about the same time abortion is inadvisable!

Much respect for understanding that women do not want men to get involved in their female dealings. I am sorry about your love of your life's pain and your son. You are a rare man today that is not pushing agenda on women. I wonder if these same men would like me asking for eminent domain over their penis and testicles and making decisions as a stranger on their sons circumcision or lack of one. Thanks! @AgileMuffin - actually according to the bible - until the baby's head pops out it's not wrong to kill a baby. Well - you can get a fine but otherwise it's cool with God.

@allbabiesareatheists the catholic church isn't the bible my friend they cant change gods words per say. so they can change their views all they want it doesn't change what Christian values should be. so if a baby is allowed to be aborted before a certain period then it is. i always felt it was okay as long as it was before the baby has a beating heart
